P3/4 Term 4 Snapshot of Learning
It is hard to believe we have reached the final term already! We have lots of fun, engaging and meaningful learning ahead.
This term, P3/4 will be busy developing their skills across all areas of the curriculum. From exploring data handling in maths to getting creative in art.
Cracking Compund Words in P3/4!
P3/4 have been busy exploring compound words - when two smaller words are joined together to make a new word with a whole new meaning! We had lots of fun spotting and creating our own examples. We played games to match the word halves.
P3/4 have been showing great responsibility and teamwork as they helped take care of our school grounds. They have done this numerous times throughout the year. Armed with litter pickers/gloves and big smiles, they set out to tidy up and show pride in our school. We talked about the importance of looking sfter shared spaces and how small action - like picking up litter - can make a big difference. Well done, P3/4 for being such caring and respectful members of our school community!
P3/4 have been learning how to write clear and simple instructions. To help us practise, we followed and wrote our own step-by-step instructions for making a jam sandwich! The best part? We got to test our instructions by making our own jam sandwiches - yum!
Learning how to tell the time - Digital and Analogue.
