ONE WORD FOR 2024
We talked about new years resolutions and our goals for the year. Everyone chose one word to represent something they wanted to achieve, feel or become this year.
We followed the steps to create our 'One Word' artwork. Everyone created a river running across their page and filled this with their word. The bolder and bigger the better! Then we used water colour pens and tried some tinfoil printing.
In groups we completed rounding activties to the nearest 10/100/1000 using the online games on our chromebooks and puzzles. As a whole class we played the number line game where one person picked a number (56) and we had to decide whether it was nearer 60 or 50.
To help us remember what to do, we used the rounding rhyme to give us a clue!
We were learning about different types of words. A preposition tells us where something is in relation to something else.
