Everyone looked fab in their Christmas jumpers and their festive accessories! 

A big well done to everyone for taking part in this year's nativity! Everyone did such a great job of singing on the stage in front of an audience, and you all looked amazing dressed up as stars! ⭐

We hope you all enjoyed our performances! 

Last week, we had our first paired reading session with the P4s! The primary 4 pupils helped us to read our reading books and then they shared a story with us.

The class have been very busy measuring! We found out how to measure length using our hands and feet, we also measured smaller items using blocks and paper clips (non-standard units of measure). 

P1A were ready for the rainy weather with their u sound umbrellas!

This term we have been learning about the 5 senses. We know that the senses tell us what is happening around us and keep us safe. 

The class have been working on their fine motor skills and pencil grip. They have been doing a super job of creating pre-writing patterns. These patterns help us form our letters correctly. 

P1A have been learning about 2D shapes! We went outside to see if we could find 2D shapes in the environment. The class are now super confident when identifying 2D shapes.  

This week, we have been learning about birthdays! We found out when everyone's birthday was and discussed how we celebrate birthdays. Most of our class birthdays were in July and August!

P1A had lots of fun painting self-portraits! We all took turns to look at ourselves in a mirror and discussed the different hair, skin and eye colours that we had in our class. Everyone did a great job of their picture!
