This week is Scottish World Cup Ceilidh Week. SATPE (Scottish Association of Teachers of Physical Education) and RSCDS (Royal Scottish Country Dance Society) want to help us celebrate Scotland’s journey to the World Cup finals and also celebrate Burns Night. They have renamed some of the most popular ceilidh dances after Scotland players, including both traditional and non traditional music options. Here we are with some P7A pupils doing some of the dances and learning their very own choreographed dance for Scotland getting into the World Cup along to the song, 'Freed from Desire'.
We have been learning all about how special our bodies are this week. We have been naming lots of body parts and had a lovely discussion about what parts of our bodies we like the best. We also learned out private body parts, their correct names and how we should keep private parts private from anyone else other than parent/carers and doctors and nurses.
