🎃 HALLOWEEN DISCO FUN 👻
We’ve been having fun with gradient painting, a technique we’re using to craft the haunting backgrounds for our haunted houses. We're exploring adjectives to describe a spooky setting, and the creativity and imagination on display are truly impressive, resulting in brilliantly haunting pictures! It's a spook-tacular time!
We've had a brilliant time learning about Bonfire Night as part of our celebrations and festivals topic! We got creative, using chalk to make fireworks and tissue paper for colourful bonfires, turning our classroom into a dazzling fireworks bonanza. What a fun way to explore this tradition together!
We've been having fun with team games! Learning to communicate, cooperate, and just enjoy playing capture the flag!
Keep our planet cool! We've been learning about the Arctic and Antarctic, discovering why the ice is melting and how our Earth is heating up. We created dioramas showcasing our planet, the emissions affecting it, and the animals impacted by climate change. Let's look after our world!
In our class, we use Newsround to stay updated on world events while practising our note-taking skills. We watch and listen carefully, jotting down three key facts in bullet points to help us remember what we've learned.
Primary 3/4 were so excited to create the sign for Lochardil's 60th birthday celebrations! We absolutely love our logo that commemorates this fantastic milestone. Here’s to many more years of great memories and fun activities together!
Primary 3 and Primary 3/4 went carol singing to Cameron House, sharing their lovely voices with the residents. It was a heartwarming experience, with our responsible citizens giving back to the community and spreading Christmas cheer to everyone!
Primary 3/4 and Primary 4 have been diving into the Rainbow Serpent story for our Cura Guardian project. We've had fun bringing the tale to life with some fab life-size art! Using fabric paints, we’ve recreated the Rainbow Serpent, and it looks brilliant! Can't wait to show it off!
We had a fantastic visit from the Primary 6 class, who came to share their PowerPoint presentations about Christmas around the world. They showed off their fantastic research, digital skills, and presentation talents. We loved listening and learning about Christmas traditions and festivals from different cultures—it was truly festive!
