3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!

We held a firework display in our classroom today! Don't worry, we didn't use real fireworks! We created our own through an exciting science experiment using vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and colourful glitter! The children really enjoyed learning about chemical reactions! ✨
COP27 Art for Action Project
November 2022
We were challenged to create a piece of artwork that communicated a powerful message about sustainability. We were asked to make our artwork using eco-friendly materials as far as this was possible. Our class of artists delivered! We recycled cardboard, old fabrics, litter and scrap paper to create our masterpiece...
We learned about warm and cold colours as we created watercolour paintings of a warming ocean.
We drew wave patterns over our watercolour seascapes to make them more eyecatching!

We showcased our COP27 Artwork during Assembly.
Inspired by 'The Tale of the Whale' by Karen Swann, we wrote about the changes whales would want to see in speech bubbles.
