In maths, with our Miss Elliot, the children have been making beautiful 3D shapes. Miss Elliot has also been working hard with the children on ou health and wellbeing High Quality Assessment Task which you can find in your child's bag tonight. Please return asap.
We have been learning fun traditional games and music from our Feis Rois teacher Sarah...
...finally, our pictures of the new teachers are inspiring some super descriptive passages.
Please come along to our Open Morning (9:30-10:15) next Thursday. We will be doing a dance. We'll do it near the start and the end of the session, so that you can go to other classes for siblings too. Have a fun weekend!
Lots of pictures of work, hopefully children soon!
We have still to be given guidance on photos on the Blog from Highland Council, so in the meantime we will just focus on the work.
The children have been finishing off their dragon eyes and we've finally got them up on the wall. They take a long time!
By contrast, we did some very quick paintings of beautiful montbretia flowers. They are out at this time of year.
Have a wonderful weekend!
We've had such a busy time and have lots to share.
We have been drawing fine detailed picturesof eyes. Both human and dragon! (Dragons not quite finished yet)
We have been looking at how an adjective can change the mood of a paragraph...
And then trying to find adjectives for a joyous/sinister new teacher!
The children have been thinking about our Class Charter and everyone's rights.
And they have been working on emotions using the characters from 'Inside Out.'
We heard all about the story of Le Petit Elephant ENTIRELY in French! Then made some puppets...
Lots going on. Have a super weekend!
A HUGE WELCOME!
It's lovely to be back, and what a brilliant class. They are bonding so well together, and it has only been a few days.
