P5 2026/27

Thank you for a wonderful week everyone!

Thank you so much to everyone who has completed their 'All About Me,' homework.

Everyone has done a fabulous job preparing and sharing information about themselves and I have loved finding out more about the wonderful children of P5. For those that have not been able to share yet, I am really looking forward to your contributions next week.

In Numeracy, we have been working with place value and partitioning this week, along with revising times tables. 

In Literacy, we have been developing our visualisation skills. This develops our imagination and helps our stories come to life. We have also been looking at punctuation and parts of speech.

We designed our own pizza recipes and got creative with our own toppings. There was much discussion as to whether pineapple does belong on pizza.

Congratulations to our Stars of the Week, Alfie and Emily!

Alfie is our Star this week for his fabulous kindness, helpfulness, hard work and effort. Well done Alfie!

Emily is our Star this week for her fabulous contributions to discussion, her enthusiasm to participate and fer her fabulous hard work and effort. Well done Emily!

Well done to Ollie who has completed Level 5 of swimming.
